If you could watch any movie on the big screen right at this moment, what would it be?
"Willow"
Periot.
Who's your favorite movie villain?
Two:
- Danny Devito as Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot in "Batman Returns"
- Kevin Spacey as Roger 'Verbal' Kint in "The Usual Suspects"
I might end up renting both of those to endure what we might be facing.
One of the main downsides to living in South Florida?
Sitting at your work-desk, just finding out that a major storm is probably gonna hit your general area in less than 36 hours, realizing that you have not prepared whatsoever and that your employer is probably not gonna release its employees early so that they can go and get prepared.
Not fun.
But I'm sure we'll be fine, as far as supplies are concerned. Last year, we were hooked up. Mama cooking grits, eggs and sausage over sterno. Our city is very good at coming to the aid of its residents. I just need to stock up on some books and load up my mp3 player. Long as I got that Bilal, summa Raheem's mixtape stuff, and a couple of other newly acquired songs, I'll be good to go.
I would like some really good books, now that I start to think about it. Everybody else is just gonna be at the gas station anyway. Should be somewhat quiet in there when I go so I can take my time and look at my leisure.
Yes, I am one of those customers that will go in a store when there's a store warning outside purely for my personal shopping. I know, I know. But I been there and done that. I went to work during a friggin' hurricane. Can't nobody say nothin' to me.
By the way, I got a name for my album: "Somebody's Gotta Be On Top", coming out July 2009.
LOL! But for real, I think I would want that to be the title. I even thought about making a track listing now too. I like to be prepared before I start any process.
Am I wrong for thinking that the cluhhh is gon' be off the chain tonight 'cause nobody has to work tomorrow? I don't think I'm wrong for that...
Alright. Gotta go "get prepared".
And thank God that I haven't seen anything like what the Gulf Coast saw in Katrina. I hope we don't see that anytime soon either.
