Well, at least I actually THINK about my Vox blog from time to time. There's just been too much going on these past few weeks for me to get to all of my blogs in a timely fashion! Hmph!
Anyaway, I just had a funny memory pop up in my head.
I rode alllllllllll the way to "Queen City", NC, to help my best friend get settled into her new life and new apartment up there. We got in town at 10:30am on the DOT and walked right into the apartment to start setting up things as the movers brought them up the stairs (!) and into the apartment.
At noon, the movers were done. Tae and I were TIRED from the drive from ATL (we had to stop at some point!) and HUNGRY, so we decided to mosy around the town to sightsee and find something to eat. Before we left the house, Tae made sure to change and get all crute (yes, crute) in case she ran into any eligible bachelors while we were out and about. I told her she was being a little extra about it being as we had JUST gotten in town. She told me to shut up, that I was leaving in two days, she would be the one stuck by herself.
I had to agree. She's a girl on a mission, I say!
Of course, no more than 8 minutes into our sightseeing adventure, we ran smack dab into the promised land - The Chee.sec.ake Factory. Fried Macaroni & Cheese Balls and a Georgia Peach?! What more could a girl ask for?!?!
We're approaching this particularly majestic version after parking the car. Walking up to it, Tae says, "See, I bet you wish you had changed your clothes."
Pish-posh, girl. Pish. Posh.
My reply to her?
"Chyle please! My credit card got numbers on the front and a signature on the back just like everbody else up in there."
The laugh she gave to that comment makes me laugh right now. LOL!
